Celebration and Worries in Chitta Basti
The episode begins with the happy buzz of celebrations in Chitta Basti. Despite his worries, Durjan is proud that the Chittas’ leader is visiting with important ministers, including the Home Minister. Kalikant arrives with the ministers, welcomed by Durjan, Nanda, and Jagriti with flowers. Jaggu wonders why her mother isn’t there yet, but then Gita shows up, and Jaggu gives her a flower she made by hand. But then, Sapna cruelly crushes the gift with her shoe, hurting Gita. Kalindi, noticing a chance, compliments Kalikant’s, urging Champa to serve everyone organic honey mocktails. Ballu then gives Kalikant a signal and leaves.

Hidden Plans and Family Conflicts
Jaggu questions why Sapna is there when she refused the prize yesterday. Akash thinks something is not right, worried their father shouldn’t see him there. He suggests Suraj and Sapna might be up to something. So, he asks Kachori to trick Suraj over the phone using Sapna’s voice. As Kachori tries to get the phone, she falls, which brings Ballu and Champa. Ballu reveals his terrible plan to burn the basti, but Champa is strongly against it because of their children.
Culture and Dark Intentions
Durjan wonders whether to show the guests their culture or start the prize ceremony for Jaggu. Kalikant urges him to showcase their culture first, suggesting tomorrow may not come. Ballu tells Champa that Sarkar promised him ownership of the basti and asks her to think about their children’s future. Champa refuses, feeling that it is wrong, especially because she remembers Dadda, Nanda and the others.
Chitta Basti’s Culture on Display
Jaggu shows off the pottery, arrow shooting, and their ability to make colours from flowers. Ballu, however, says once the basti burns, a new one will be built. Champa doesn’t believe that to be true, saying those are false promises. Meanwhile, Kalindi, in her red saree, draws Kalikant’s attention. She teases him about it and gives credit to Ratna for her look. Jagriti shows how they use catapults, while Akash signals to Jaggu to come. Jaggu asks Ratna to get Kalindi to perform the Chitta folk dance. Kalindi is very excited to dance.
A Secret overheard
Jaggu joins Akash, and he explains that Kachori has gone to get the phone, but hasn’t returned. Jaggu decides to check on her. Meanwhile, Ballu instructs Champa to make Kachori smell chloroform and take her to the jungle. Ballu plans to burn the basti and meet her there with Golu. But Champa disagrees, and in their struggle, Kachori shouts, having heard everything. Then Ballu knocks her out with chloroform. Jaggu and Akash arrive to look for Kachori. Ballu hides her, and Champa lies to them saying she is outside. Ballu then tells Champa that Dadda’s rule is over and now it’s his turn. Kalindi, enjoying herself, dances with the Chitta women, asking Kalikant to record for her fans.
Danger Looms
Gita gets a call from a Senior Judge. He tells her that they are on standby so that Kalikant doesn’t get the chance to think, and she is waiting for Jagriti’s prize distribution. Kalikant is waiting for Ballu to start the fire. Ballu pours kerosene oil on the houses and laughs evilly. Champa, taking Kachori, prays for everyone’s safety. Akash asks Jhunki if it has seen Kachori, and is finally asking Jhunki to talk and tell him where is Kachori, Ballu throws the kerosene oil on the wooden stove that is having fire.
Precap:
Kachori awakens, escapes from Champa and runs to stop the fire. Ballu signals to Kalikant, who is recording, as he pours kerosene on the ground. The fire breaks out. Durjan saves Kachori. Sapna yells for help, and Jaggu rushes to save her. Something falls on Sapna, and Gita cries out.
