A Gift and a Secret
Rahi gives Mahi a bangle, saying their mother got it for her. Mahi is happy and wears it. Rahi playfully tells Mahi she won’t reveal anything to Prem and remembers that he is going to be her brother-in-law. Later, Anupama notices Rahi wearing a warm cloth and asks why she put it on so forcefully. Rahi says the bangle was meant for Mahi because it fits perfectly. When Anupama asks if Rahi is in pain, she admits she’s hurting a lot. Anupama worries and asks what is wrong. Rahi is thinking to herself that if she were to speak, all her inner turmoil will come out and ruin everything. She hugs Anupama, saying she’s only scared of doing something wrong and making her upset. Anupama reassures her that Rahi is incapable of wrongdoing because everyone loves her so much. Rahi says Prem is not hers. Anupama suggests they do fun things. Rahi says she has to take Mahi’s place and also be a good daughter and she feels too much pressure. Anupama jokingly suggests that Rahi take her as her dowry when she gets married, and they laugh. Rahi says everything will be fine, slowly.

Late Night Feelings
Rahi finds Prem sleeping on the stairs and covers him with a blanket and lights a fire to keep him warm. Prem asks if they are doing the right thing by lying to everyone and keeping their feelings a secret. Rahi reminds him that he chose to support Mahi and asks why he is suddenly talking like this. Prem says his heart doesn’t have a mind. Rahi is hurt and remembers telling him the same words earlier. Ansh spots them and gets angry.
Accusations and Misunderstandings
Ansh confronts Prem, grabbing his collar and accuses him of playing with both his sisters’ feelings. Prem tries to calm him down. Ansh says he never liked Prem from day one. Everyone is shocked. Pari shakes her head “no”. Prem tries to explain that it’s not what it looks like. Ansh says why they both were sitting together with the same shawl. Pari tries to say that it’s a misunderstanding. Mahi defends Prem saying that her Prem is not like this. Rahi steps in to defend Prem, saying she was on her way to meet Kaveri when she saw him shivering and covered him with her shawl. She states they were sitting at a distance and talking about Mahi. Baa, Pakhi, and Dolly say it’s not right for a man and a woman to sit together like that. Rahi apologizes, stating they were discussing Mahi’s preferences. Baa tells Anupama to ask Rahi to stay away from Prem because he will be her brother-in-law. Mahi says she trusts Prem. Baa calls her love-struck and leaves, which upsets Prem.
Rahi’s Inner Conflict
Rahi is upset that she could not refuse Prem and worries that her one mistake will ruin everything. She reminds herself that Prem is only for Mahi. She wonders why she is having this problem because she is the one who pushed him towards Mahi.
The Pandit’s Prediction
Anupama speaks to a client and then meets Pandit ji, who Baa has called to set the engagement date and to check the couple’s hands. Baa wants to make sure everything is right before the marriage because her daughters are at home. Pakhi and Dolly make comments about their own kundali matches. Baa says that until one compromises, they will not be happy even if they marry 10 times. Ishani says to take a divorce or move on if unhappy. Pari says both partners shall try to resolve the issues and give their marriage a chance. Baa asks Anupama to bring Mahi and Prem and to have Pandit ji tell the truth. Ansh hopes that Pandit ji will expose Prem. Pari hopes that Pandit Ji will not approve of Mahi and Prem’s marriage. Mahi fears that her kundali might not match. Prem fears that his truth will be revealed. Rahi prays that their kundalis match. Anupama hopes that the right thing will happen. Pandit Ji says Prem has a very fortunate line on his hand. However, he states that Mahi and Prem’s lines do not match and their relationship will not last. Mahi gets upset and refuses to believe it. Pandit Ji suggests the marriage should not happen as neither of them will be happy. Mahi insists on marrying Prem. Baa warns her she will be ruined. Mahi says she will never marry if she cannot marry Prem. Anupama asks Pandit ji to set the engagement date. He states a date after two days is good. Baa says Anupama is throwing her daughter into the well. Anupama argues that a marriage will work if both the partners put in effort. Anupama says the engagement will happen after 2 days. Mahi thanks her.
A Shocking Revelation
Pandit Ji apologizes to Anupama for Mahi’s behavior. He says he remembers Rahi’s kundali and tells her that if Prem marries Rahi, it would be the best thing because Rahi and Prem’s match is like Ram and Sita. Anupama is shocked to hear this.
Precap:
Jigna tells Anupama a girl has come to meet her. Anupama sees Prarthana and invites her to Prem’s engagement. Prem asks Prarthana why she came and why she is here. Prarthana tells him to not get engaged. Rahi applies mehendi on Mahi’s hands. Suddenly, Prem falls on Mahi and the mehendi gets smudged from Mahi’s hand onto Rahi’s hand. Everyone is shocked.
