Dolly’s Doubts and Toshu’s Fears
Dolly tells Baa that Mummy always favors Prem, even now. Toshu agrees, saying Mummy gets mad if anyone criticizes Prem. Dolly wonders what magic Prem has cast on her, that she can’t see his faults and wants him out of the house. Pakhi suggests Mummy will listen to her and help get rid of Prem. Toshu is worried, saying if Prem traps Pari or Ishu, what will they do, and he is just a servant dreaming of marrying into the family.
Prem’s Confession and Mahi’s Hope
Prem asks Mahi what her problem is and why she loses confidence when called names. He tells her she has no flaws, but he might. He asks her not to say such things again, and Mahi cries. Recalling Rahi’s words, Prem tells Mahi that he doesn’t love her, but likes her and can try to have a relationship. Mahi is hopeful and offers her hand. Prem says he can’t promise love, but he will try, and he asks her if she can wait forever for love, urging her to think. Prem holds her hand, and Mahi says she loves him and will wait until he loves her back. Prem thinks he is doing this for Rahi and Anupama.
Anupama’s Approval and Baa’s Concerns
Baa asks Anupama why she sent Prem to Mahi’s room, saying she has become modern. Anupama says Prem needed to talk to her. Mahi hugs Anupama, saying Prem will be with her, and their relationship is happening. Anupama gets emotional and asks Prem if Mahi is telling the truth. Prem says he will support Mahi and never hurt her. Anupama thanks Prem. Baa says this isn’t a movie, and reality begins after the film ends. She asks Mahi where she will stay, and Mahi says where Prem keeps her. Baa worries about the love fever like Pakhi had, and asks Anupama to make them understand. Anupama says love alone doesn’t sustain a house. Prem says he hasn’t thought about all that, needs time, and has no clarity yet. Toshu asks if he wants to marry or not. Ansh says he first said he didn’t love her and now is agreeing to marry. Prem says he needs answers. Ansh and Toshu want to know how much time he needs. Anupama says Prem is right, and they should give him time, as it’s about both their lives. Mahi asks Prem to take care, and he looks at Rahi before leaving.
Baa’s Doubt and Anupama’s Trust
Baa asks Anupama what happened in just a few hours that made Prem agree. Anupama says Prem will not do anything wrong. Baa says Prem will do wrong, and the way he is asking for time, he will change his mind. She says all love marriages in their house failed. She says Anupama’s marriage lasted 26 years, but her love marriage with Anuj didn’t even last 26 months. She says if anything bad happens, Anupama will be blamed. Pakhi says Mummy will be badly trapped. Anupama thanks Prem, and asks if he accepted Mahi out of his own wish or due to helplessness. She asks him not to lie and puts his hand on her head. Prem says he doesn’t love her and doesn’t know if he ever will. Rahi looks at him. Anupama says she trusted him and reminds him of when they first met and his search for her daughter, making him part of their family. She says she doesn’t like liars and asks about Prarthana, seeing them hug. Prem says he has no relationship with Prarthana; she was just emotional. Anupama says trust should not be broken, and Prem promises not to break her trust and also to support Mahi.
Rahi’s Pain and Prem’s Sacrifice
Rahi is packing food when Prem comes, with tears in her eyes. She gets tangled in the thread while wrapping, and he wipes her tears. She cuts the thread, and Prem hurts himself with a rubber band. He thinks he loves her so much that he gave up his stubbornness. Rahi knows he is doing this for Mummy and her. Prem thinks he has sacrificed his love for her by accepting Mahi, and Rahi is feeling much pain, but she has to do this for Mummy’s happiness.
Pakhi’s Warning and Prem’s Anguish
Pakhi tells Mahi to marry Prem before he changes his mind, saying Prem might fall in love with Rahi. Mahi is shocked. Prem throws things around and hurts himself. Rahi asks why he’s angry when he made the decision. Prem says he has to keep his promise, but he’s in pain. He asks Rahi if she’s hurt and hugs her, saying sorry. Rahi says she hurt him and asked for a sacrifice, saying he should hate her. Prem says he can’t hate her, even if she takes his life. He says he accepted her wish and asks her to accept his wish in the next life. He says he will wait for the next life. Rahi agrees. She runs and hugs Prem, both crying. She leaves.

Anupama asks Baa why she called Prem. Baa says they need to fix the engagement time. Pandit sees Prem’s hand and says he has Maha Raj Yog. He sees Mahi and Prem’s hands, and says they are not compatible. Mahi shouts at him. Later, the Pandit tells Anupama that Rahi and Prem are made for each other, like Ram and Sita.
