A Courageous Apology, But Will It Be Heard?
The story starts with Khushi, who’s trying to make things right. She’s come to apologize for her past mistakes. Monisha is not happy to see her and criticizes Khushi’s courage for even showing up. Khushi explains she understands her wrongdoings, which makes Monisha question her sincerity. Khushi is not going to let her get in the way of her goal, so she ignores her and tries to get to RV’s aunt. But Harman tells her that this is a bad time, as RV might get upset if he sees her because of the past. Khushi understands, and sadly goes. Monisha is glad to see her go and shuts the door.
Whispers of Trouble
Monisha then tries to turn Vaishali against Khushi, saying she came to the house. Vaishali is furious and wants to throw Khushi out, but she is not able to do anything. Monisha is stirring the pot, saying that Khushi is related to the family because her sister, Poorvi, married RV. She wishes Poorvi had never married RV, since she believes that bad things have happened since then. Monisha suggests that RV would be very mad if he knew Khushi was there, since her actions ruined his life. She convinces Vaishali to tell RV to warn Khushi to stay away from their family.
Seeking the Truth
Meanwhile, Poorvi is trying to get Nethra to confess the truth about a conspiracy. She offers to help her in return. Poorvi says that she knows the truth will come out one day and tries to appeal to Nethra’s good side. Nethra refuses and gets the constable to take her away, but Poorvi won’t go without answers. She says she can be just as loud as Nethra because of what they did to her, RV, and the whole family.
A Secret Meeting and a Father’s Heart
The story returns to Khushi, who comes back to meet RV and Dadu tells her to leave. Harman, however, directs her to RV’s room, but then Khushi apologizes to him for her past behavior. Harman surprisingly shows understanding and lets her go upstairs to meet RV. Dadu is not happy with Harman’s decision because Harleen might not like Khushi meeting RV. Harman defends his choice saying that Khushi came to the hospital the night before to check on RV’s health and was insulted by Armaan. He believes she should be allowed to see RV. He also points out that she’s Poorvi’s sister, so it’s natural she’d be worried about RV, her brother-in-law. Harman wonders if he did the right thing by allowing her to go see RV and Dadu looks on.
Family Conflicts
Vaishali then calls Jaswant, worried that Khushi might be in the house and he assures her that she left, and he says that Khushi’s married now and shouldn’t cause any problems. Vaishali is worried if Poorvi has made a place in RV’s heart like Khushi had. Jaswant says that Poorvi hasn’t and that Monisha still has a place in his heart. Vaishali is upset that he doesn’t understand and ends the call abruptly. She then sees Khushi again and angrily demands that she leave them alone.
Past Wounds and Understanding
Harman talks with Harleen about changing the past, since it is not possible, then he announces that their daughter Nupur is coming home tomorrow. Harleen says that this will remind her of how Nupur’s marriage got cancelled and what she has been through when RV went to jail and the humiliation they all faced. She doesn’t want to remember such terrible events. Harman says he can only change his behavior not hers, and that she is entitled to it because she is a mother and a person. She says that he never understood her pain. She tells Harman that a mother feels her children’s pain even if they are far away. She can’t forget the past, she says. Harman says that he is RV’s father and he felt his pain too. He says even though he doesn’t carry a child in the womb, he is still connected to him. She tells him a mother carries her child in her womb and that he cannot understand.
Hope for the Truth
Poorvi again asks Nethra to confess the truth and help both of them. Poorvi says that one good deed will fix a hundred mistakes and asks her to say the truth.
The story ends with a hint of hope that Nethra will reveal the truth about the conspiracy. Nethra tells Poorvi that Monisha was involved and says she will help expose the truth if Poorvi gets her out of jail.
